Expected results

Seven work packages, one competence pathway

The work programme connects project governance, AI, pedagogy, platform development, real-world validation, employer co-design and long-term uptake.

Core outputs

What the project will deliver

Accessible digital platform

A single point of access that integrates assessment, competence profiles, adaptive pathways, tracking and role-based dashboards.

Digital Skills Passport

Portable competence evidence combining micro-credentials, validated performance information and structured feedback.

Employer tools & matching

Competence-to-job translation, inclusive recruitment guidance and matching scenarios that remain subject to human review.

Work packages

Expected results by work package

Open each section for a concise summary of the planned outputs.

WP2 – AI Architecture & Logic

• AI classification model that transforms multimodal assessment data—e.g. XR interactions, quizzes, interactive tasks and structured feedback—into structured competency profiles.
• Feature Extraction Framework with defined performance indicators such as response time, accuracy and sequencing logic.
• Adaptive Path Engine using rule-based and AI-supported logic to create personalised support and learning pathways for identified competency gaps.
• Continuous Skills Tracking Logic for continuously recording competency development and verifying whether the requirements for micro-credentials have been achieved.
• Secure, scalable backend and data architecture compliant with GDPR and EU data protection requirements.

WP3 – Pedagogical Framework & Content

• Transnational competency matrix for measurable occupational, transversal and adaptive competencies, aligned with the EQF and inclusive VET standards.
• Autism-informed instructional design guidelines for accessible task structures, sensory-adapted environments and transparent assessment logic.
• Pool of structured assessment scenarios including XR simulations, task-based modules, micro-learning units and multimodal evaluation formats.
• Performance Indicators and Behavioural Descriptors that enable interaction data to be translated into understandable competency profiles.
• Methodological validation protocols for piloting, ensuring that actual competency development is measured rather than merely test performance.

WP4 – Platform Development & Integration

• Integrated ASC SkillsPath platform as a secure, scalable and interoperable web-based Single Point of Access.
• APIs connecting the AI services from WP2 with the competency and learning structure developed in WP3.
• User interfaces for learners, teaching/training staff and institutional stakeholders.
• Competency dashboards and visualisation of adaptive learning pathways.
• Secure, GDPR-compliant data management, role-based access rights and interoperability for XR, assessment and AI data.
• Testing and integration protocols to verify stability, accessibility and functionality, including an integrated platform beta version and Learner Dashboard.

WP5 – Validation, Skills Passport & Matching

• Validated Digital Skills Passport that translates multimodal assessment data into structured and understandable competency profiles.
• Validated individual learning and development pathways that demonstrate measurable competency development over time.
• Evidence of the system’s usability, accessibility and acceptance among the pilot groups.
• Demonstrated end-to-end integration from XR Assessment → AI Interpretation → Platform Delivery.
• Pilot evaluation of the feasibility of competency-based matching with occupational requirements.
• Transferable implementation model for inclusive digital competency validation in VET contexts.

WP6 – Industry Co-Design & Employability

• Competence-to-Occupation Mapping Framework linking Skills Passport results with recognised occupational profiles and transversal competency clusters.
• Employer-validated competency descriptors that translate competencies derived from XR and AI into workplace-relevant skills.
• Tested matching methodology between individual competency profiles and realistic training, further education or employment pathways.
• Structured feedback models enabling employers to use competency visualisations for recruitment, onboarding and guidance.
• Replicable cooperation guidelines for VET providers and companies.
• Matching based on rule-based competency allocation and weighted profile comparisons, with the final assessment explicitly remaining a human decision.

WP7 – Dissemination, Exploitation & Sustainability

• European dissemination strategy with target-group-specific communication formats, stakeholder events and knowledge-transfer materials for VET providers, employers and policymakers.
• Exploitation Roadmap for integrating the developed tools, methods and digital components into existing training systems, HR processes and competency validation.
• Practice-oriented guidelines for institutional implementation and sector-specific use.
• Sustainability Model including governance structures, cooperation mechanisms and development pathways beyond the project lifetime.
• Policy Recommendations on how competency-based recognition can complement formal qualification systems and strengthen inclusive employment.
• Transferable European reference model and post-project model for hosting, licensing and long-term governance of the platform and competency framework.

Validation targets in the application
